RX100 V Sony rumored to be present with UFS card support

Origin of Japan brand, Sony is indeed successful in the field of compact-sized camera or often called compact, especially on the series the RX100 seems more popular with tourists, as it is more practical and easy to carry everywhere, yet have the results of an image that is no less a professional camera.

Now Sony rumored about preparing for a new camera, called RX100 V and on theprevious reports said that the cameras would slide in June, but it is clearly not the case.

Thanks to reports from Sony Alpha Rumors, some additional information about the camera has revealed. According to sources they get, Sony will switch from SD card to use UFS card. It is not clear whether Sony will create a UFS cards of their own, but last we heard, Samsung launched their own removable UFS card, so we think it's one of the options.

If you are not yet familiar with UFS UFS, currently used in devices such as Smartphones and is said to be faster and more efficient than accessing the microSD/SD card. However, previous UFS is used for internal memory, which means that until Samsung comes, they cannot be removed or exchanged with others, such as microSD card, so clear to Sony to switch to UFS is a pretty big deal, even though it means that customers have to buy new storage media to be able to use the new features.

As for the timing of the release of RX100 V, it seems that there is a possibility the camera was delayed due to an earthquake in Kumamoto, Japan. The source of the Sony Alpha Rumors also said if the lab is fully operating again in Kumamoto, Sonywill soon make the announcement of the launch of the camera.
